PCB should have made Inzamam batting coach
ISLAMABAD: Former test leg-spinner Abdul Qadir on Wednesday questioned the knowledge of appointing Inzamam-ul-Haq as chief selector as an alternative of making him the Pakistan team’s batting instruct.
“The Pakistan Cricket Board is unable to opt for the right man for the job,” Qadir stated.
“you may comfortably see that batting instruct’s job would fine acceptable Inzy who has been some of the finest Pakistan batsmen.”
He added, “I appeal to the PCB purchaser-in-chief to kindly intervene and appoint some cricketer who can run the board in a better manner.
“If the topic just isn’t sorted out safely, the future of our cricket is bleak.”
the former player said there were many prime cricketers in Pakistan who could run the board in a greater way than administrators.
“in my view, Majid Khan, Javed Miandad and Zaheer Abbas understand cricket manner higher than the administrators,” he stated.
Speakme in regards to the Younis Khan indiscipline episode, Qadir said the Board first allowed Younis to take part in the Pakistan Cup but after they faced criticism they barred him from participating in the tournament.
“PCB officials are negative in making proper selections on the right time and can’t control pressure,” he concluded.
